What Is The Difference Between Clamps & Saddles?

We stock a range of clamps and saddles to suit Dairy Tube, Metric Press Fit Tube and Schedule Pipe.

Typically we stock clamps from 1 inch to 4 inch, and any other sizes are stocked as saddles. A clamp has a hinge on one side, and a bolt on the other. This makes for quick, easy installation and works well for tight spaces. Saddles have bolts either side and need space around them to do these bolts up on both sides.

We stock Clamps and saddles in several configurations – bossed with an M10 boss ready to be screwed onto threaded rod, stubbed with a 16mm stub meaning your tube or pipe can be raised 50mm from the attached surface, collared with a 5/8 collar ready to be bolted to ⅝” or 16mm round bar, and plain so you can do what you like with the clamp. Our clamps and saddles are all stocked in 304 grade.
