RapidPress makes installing pipe work a breeze with its simple three step process for Rapid installation. – Cut, Debur, and Press.
Available in Stainless Steel grades 304 and 316, Carbon Steel, Copper & Copper-Nickel, RapidPress can be used in a variety of applications including;
Potable Water, Compressed Air, Heating & Cooling, Steam, Gas and Oil lines, Marine and many more scenarios.
RapidPress is a modular system that utilises O-Rings and hydraulically pressed crimps to ensure every connection has a tight seal and won’t leak.
The unique, patented lenticular shape and design of the RapidPress seal allows for up to 20% more sealing than other brands. For sizes up to 54mm, a ridge in the seal allows for a ‘leak before press’, ensuring any unpressed joins to be detected during pressure testing. At sizes 76mm and above, a press check indicator sleeve is used to indicate any unpressed joints. This sleeve will fall off after the joint is pressed.
Standardly, the system is rated up to 16 bar at 120 degrees Celsius, but additional temperature and pressure ratings can be achieved by getting pre-approval from The Metal Company.
With sizes from 15 mm to 168 mm available. RapidPress can suit a wide range of applications from Glycol lines to compressed air ring mains. However, RapidPress isn’t suitable for food or beverage lines due to the pressed connections, but it can suitably be used for potable water.
Approved pressing tools have pre-set torque settings and safety features to ensure each press is consistent, leaving no uncertainty of joint integrity.
RapidPress carries a range of approved hire tools so you can try the system without any upfront investment.
RapidPress can be pressed wet or dry, meaning there is no need to completely drain the pipe before alterations, making it easy for maintenance and improvements.
There is a huge range of fittings and adapters available so you can extend existing lines or start afresh.
