OUR RANGE OF SPIRAL WELD

Our spiral welded tube and fittings are measured according to their internal dimensions. This means they are incompatible with standard tube or pipe fittings at the same size.

About

Spiral weld is commonly used in industry applications such as HVAC / refrigeration, liquid transfer, waste water, irrigation and pumping.

Spiral weld tube is created by spirally forming coil into a tube which is then fused with fusion welding. It is then pickled and passivated in a full immersion bath of Nitric and Hydrofluoric acid for 8+ hours.

Our spiral welded tube and fittings are measured according to their internal dimensions. This means they are incompatible with standard tube or pipe fittings at the same size.

All our spiral welded stainless steel tube is manufactured from high quality coil conforming to ASTM: A240.

The Metal Company stock a range of fittings to suit spiral welded tube, including 45° & 90° bendsteesconcentric reducers, caps, saddle clamps and flanges & accessories. Aside from the standard range, The Metal Company can source or manufacture various spiral welded tubes and fittings within New Zealand or internationally. Options available on indent include spiral welded tube and fittings in stainless steel grade 316, spiral welded tube up to 8 metres in length and spiral welded tube and fittings in sizes up to 24”.
