The Metal Company supplied Stainless Schedule Pipe for an irrigation system to distribute water from a dam to three fields via 8 pumps, delivering a maximum flow of 960 m³ per hour. The system was engineered for durability, efficiency, and a 50-year lifespan.
Stainless steel schedule pipes were chosen over mild steel to withstand the high mineral content in the water, which could degrade mild steel, especially during extended idle periods. Stainless steel ensures corrosion resistance, maintaining the system’s integrity and minimizing maintenance over time.
